Experiencing God’s Steadfast Love (Psalm 117)

Praise the Lord, all nations!

Extol Him, sing His praises, all peoples, and forget not all His benefits.

You who fear the Lord, praise Him!

The princes of the peoples gather as the people of the God of Abraham.

For the shields of the earth belong to God; He is highly exalted!

For just as sin came into the world through one man, and death through sin.

Thus, death spread to all people because all sinned.

Rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received reconciliation.

Gracious is the Lord, and righteous; our God is merciful.

All you offspring of Jacob, glorify Him, and stand in awe of Him, all you offspring of Israel!

For great is His steadfast love toward us through the covenant, and the faithfulness of the Lord endures forever.

Praise the Lord! Hallelujah

Proclaim, “The Lord, the Lord, a God merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness.”

Wondrously show your steadfast love, O Savior of those who seek refuge from their adversaries

Let sinners be consumed from the earth and let the wicked be no more!

Bless the Lord, O my soul!

For the Lord is good;

His steadfast love endures forever, and His faithfulness to all generations.

For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is His steadfast love toward those who fear Him.
